microNOx is an atmospheric induction, hyperstoichiometric
multigas burner. Its CO and NOx emissions are very low in order to
comply with the following international regulations regarding
polluting emissions: RAL UZ 40, DIN 4702 (p.III), PR EN 483 (cl.V). |
The system was introduced and patented by Industrie POLIDORO
with its BNOx burner. This application has been used successfully
for over 10 years by the major European producers of heating
appliances. The main characteristic of the microNOx burner is its
size. It is considerably smaller than normal low NOx and CO
emission burners, yet maintains a high rated output (1. 75kW/
cm2). It has been designed especially for installation in small
modern wall-hung boilers. |
It is modulating, and its thermal capacity can be reduced to 40% of
its rated capacity. It is cooled by water from the boiler circuit, while
keeping the burner effectiveness constant, without the use of
auxiliary equipment such as fans. |
Without changing the structure of the boilers, the microNOx burner
is also recommended for the conversion of those appliances which
normally use standard burners; that is, when the burners emit "II
class" NOx but need to ensure emissions of "V class" NOx. The
microNOx burner is modular, therefore, as with all POLIDORO
burners, it can be adapted to the appliance in which it is to be
installed. |
