Aeration |
| AERATION A premix pilot burner is primary aerated. An air inlet is built into the pilot tube, just after the gas injector but outside the burner chamber. Primary air is drawn from outside the combustion chamber by the gas, ensuring a premixed gas/air mixture. Generally, secondary air is available inside the chamber, but in modern burners it can be very low if the combustion chamber is sealed (only primary air thru the main burner and thru pilot burner is available). Premix pilot burners are suitable for burners with high or only primary aeration (no secondary air); they are gerally modern atmospheric low NO x premix burners, with sealed combustion chambers. |
| Premix pilot burner application with low NOx atmospheric burner (the combustion chamber is almost close or even sealed, that means low or no secondary air) |
