| Application A Q370A thermocouple in conjunction with a pilot burner, provides a flame proving function in a gas appliance. This is a replacement thermocouple which can be fitted to almost all models of Honeywell pilot burners and most pilot burners of other manufacturer using the Tradeline adapter system. Simple instructions are packed with Q370A which show a service man how to install the Q370A in the majority of pilot burners he will encounter on service visits. Several models are available with various replacement abilities. Specification Output: 22 ... 30 mV Heat-up time: 30 s max. Drop-out time: 30 or 45 s max. Heat- up time The minimum open circuit output of the thermocouple shall be 15 mV within 20 s when heated in such a way that in stabilized situation the thermocouple tip is at least 600 °C. Drop-out time The maximum drop--out time shall be 45 s, unless otherwise mentioned. The open circuit output of the thermocouple shall drop below 4 mV within 45 s after removing heat source, when thermocouple is mounted in a single port pilot burner and thermocouple tip is heated by a gas flame up to 700 °C. Recommended temperatures Hot junction: 650 ± 50 °C Cold junction: 415 _C max.
