Low NOx burners for boilers

The new antipollution laws prescribe a reduction in the quantity of combustion products emitted by the heating appliance, which are noxious to the environment.
The "OVO" burner meets these requirements and permits the NOx and CO emissions to be reduced to a value under 40 mg per kW/h.
Particular technical solution, which are the basis of the patent application, No. VI92A000067 have allowed the manufacture of this atmospheric burner with a so called hyperstoimetric mixture.
In this case the flame is fed by a mixture of air and gas in which the air is in excess of the quantity necessary for combustion so that no secondary air is required.
